Welcome to Week 8 of my Outsidevibes Weekly Update. This past week was a big one for me because I announced Outsidevibes! Doing so was nerve-racking but I feel very relived. I am excited that I finally put Outsidevibes out to the world and I am ready to get back into working on it full time. Emma and I both feel the same way right now, that we want to dedicate more time to our businesses and projects, so we have decided to cut our travel plans short.
We initially planned on backpacking through Mexico until the middle of November, when our month long Airbnb was to start, but after talking about it, we decided to shorten our travels and get to our Airbnb sooner. We will be backpacking for another week before going to the small beach town of Puerto Escondido where we can catch up from the past few busy weeks and fully dive into our businesses!
Right now we are in my favorite city in Mexico, Guanajuato. This small colonial mining town is truly a rustic gem. The streets are tiny and cobbled and all of the buildings are brightly painted. Guanajuato has a longstanding history but also a young atmosphere, making it the perfect place to get lost for a few days. We are in the middle of the annual film festival, so the city is extra busy, but also full of great art, music, crafts and performances.
Before heading to Guanajuato we spent a handful of days in Guadalajara sightseeing some of the different areas around the city and we had a full, fun day visiting Tequila on our own!
