I can’t believe that it has been more than a month since I started the Outsidevibes Weekly Update. I have no idea where that time has gone! I do know where last week went and it did not go into the website. I ended up not diving headfirst into working on the website like I planned, instead I ended up reading a 600+ page book.

Last Wednesday and Thursday I tried to update some general info on the website but I struggled putting my thoughts into words so I gave up and found a new book to read. Thursday night I hopped on the Toronto TTC and went downtown for a Coheed and Cambria concert. I used to listen to them a lot back in the day but I have never had the opportunity to see them live. I was super stoked not only for the concert but I was ready to try and document the evening. This would be a great way to practice writing stories as they happen and make an article for Outsidevibes directly after my experience.

I did not have a great time at the concert. The crowed at the venue was the worst I have ever experienced out of any concert I have been to, which ruined what should have been an awesome show. The first opening band and Coheed and Cambria both played fantastic sets but by the end of the night I was just ready for the show to be over. The following day I continued with my writing struggles, I spent hours designing and trying to write a post about the evening only to have my post online for a short time before I ultimately deleted it. I was not happy with what I wrote and I was still annoyed with the night before that I could not be bothered to put any more work into something I did not care to write about.

Not liking what I wrote for the concert capped off the past few days of me struggling with my writing abilities. I ended up frustrated and once again questioning why was I trying to do this when writing writing is so difficult for me. I kind of just gave up and spent the rest of my week reading. This isn’t the first time I have had this feeling. Sometimes it is hard to put so much work into something which you get no immediate return out of. But each time I seem to overcome, after a few days, since Outsidevibes is my dream.

Basically last week was me struggling to write so then I dove into a good book to calm myself. And now it is crunch time for me to finish the small projects I wanted done weeks ago! This Saturday I am heading to Mexico for a new adventure and I planned on officially launching Outsidevibes before the trip. Both of which are nerve racking in general and I don’t feel quite prepared. So there is a lot to do in a short period of time!
